After studying Theology and taking a number of intriguing paths in life, including studying Fine and Decorative Arts, Erica discovered her place was in Theatre. Trained by the Young Vic and StoneCrabs Theatre. Maev is a graduate of the Abbey Theatre’s New Playwrights Programme and the Criterion New Writing Programme. Her short plays have been performed at the LiT Space, The Dogstar, Theatre Royal Stratford East, The White Bear, Theatre 503, the Camden People’s Theatre and the Arcola Theatre in London, the Peacock Theatre in Dublin, and the Courtyard Theatre in Brisbane. She has been long listed for the Verity Bargate, papatango and Bread & Roses playwriting awards. She completed her Masters in Playwriting at Royal Holloway in 2007.
